My sleep journey & contemplations on the power of sleep

My deep passion to inspire all humans to make their best sleep their foundation runs immensely deep, and that is an understatemet.

The more I work with clients, the more this is urgently reinforced too.

The more I see the way in which people thrive with great sleep vs are unwell without it, the more I just want to shout it to the rooftops ever single day!

The art of sleep is vast, beautiful and something to relish and honour – and it is very very unique for everyone! Let nobody put you into a box of convention about your sleep health.

I have a lot to share, as all I’ve ever done now connects with the foundation of sleep! I see it so clearly – and I also see very clearly why it seems so hidden to some, and why to some it is a whole new world that they previously fully ignored or brushed off with a laugh.

I see it in humans from all walks of life and of course it wove its way through my life too – very significantly in fact! Imagine studying and obsessing about what makes some humans thrive, while others struggle and then after spending over 20 years as an academic, plus studying and applying holistic medicine/alternative healing for at least 30 years – coming to the FOUNDATION of sleep as a pivotal essential factor.

I will write much more on this; but in this blog I am wishing to start by introducing SOME of the MANY facets of the world of rest and sleep that I have lived and that I can help YOU with. I have deep & immersed experience of countless modalities that help you get to that place – my lifelong experience on teaching people how (and why) to be calm – the biochemistry & neurology behind it and how to use it – plus the mindset (outlook, self-talk, programes (in your subconscious mind) from childhood/society, and what we carry in our DNA, to create positive change!

Here are a few bits of food for thought. Reach out if these touched you and if you wish to get access to supportive resources, free (and some paid) seminars – and 1:1 help or courses you can easily use to start your new & better rested life!

11. Menopause and sleep as a mirror of change

The body in transition, the sleep that shifts with it—menopause isn’t a problem to fix, it’s a power to understand. And there are many ways to support a graceful process – though awareness, welcoming, investigating self-care, nutrition and supplements & reinventing our next fabulous chapter – of deeper self recognition and care.

12. Retirement and sleep reinvention

A new era where identity dissolves and re-forms—sleep becomes both the casualty and compass of this major life shift.

📱 Modern World Meets Biology

13. Social media and sleep disruption

The dopamine-drenched, comparison-heavy swirl that hijacks your body’s readiness for rest—quietly rewiring your rhythms.

14. Waking up as a survival mechanism

Your body isn’t broken—it’s brilliant. Night waking is an ancient signal of protection, now misunderstood as dysfunction. I know I can help you.
